Artist's Comments

Manning Point Beach, early morning.
It was hard to find a stretch of beach without the fishermen.

ooh! nice... goood reflection shot!

personally i'd suggest a little less on the shutter speed, which could go either way... either the water would blend well witht the cloouds... or too well.

Thanks for the comments and fave. :D
Didn't want to blow out the clouds with a slower shutter speed. Also did a faster one but this image seemed to have it all just right. I think.

oh man that looks like such a beautiful day! big puffy clouds, blue sky! I want to be there :<

i see the fire burning in your eyes
it melts away the ice in my heart
lift away, cloud of darkness
set me into a realm of your warmth
hide me in the folds of your clothes
and keep me safe until this all blows over.

You can walk on clouds. :-) Very pretty shot. It looks a bit mysterious, too.

Wow, those clouds look so low :wow: Nice shot!

I love the sea

--
St. Francis said,
“A man who uses his hands is a laborer. One who uses his hands and mind is a craftsman. He who uses his hands, and his mind, and his heart is an artist.”

I love the sea too, but it terrifies me at the same time. Boats are a scary thing for me. Used to go sailing with my husband, catamaran. We lost a mast one day and we were swimming around in shark infested waters to try and re rig it. Never went sailing again. Can't swim in the ocean either, scares me too much. Looking at the ocean from the beach or headland is all I need to get my fix of its wonders.
Thanks Bear. :)
